Research progress of intelligent assessment methods in cognitive impairment
The high prevalence of cognitive impairment, which lacks specific treatment options imposes a heavy social burden. Early screening and intervention are essential to delay cognitive decline and improve prognosis. Traditional neuropsychological assessment methods have disadvantages, such as being time-consuming and subjective. It is therefor edifficult to meet the increasing needs for assessment in the population with cognitive impairment. The emerging intelligent assessment methods make up for these shortcomings to a large extent and have great clinical value as well as broad prospects for commercial application. In this review, we intend to summarize the progress of intelligent assessment methods applied in patients with cognitive impairment, and provide guidance for research development and promotion of intelligent assessment technology.
