The experience in diagnosis and treatment of a case of sarcoidosis with blurred vision, low fever, chest pain and deflection of angle of mouth as the main manifestations was reported. Through case discussion, it is clear that some systemic diseases which have not been documented in the literature of traditional Chinese medicine may be related to neuroimmune diseases. Based on the treatment principle of traditional Chinese medicine, most of the neuroimmune diseases are treated from liver, spleen and kidney, and the syndrome differentiation of these diseases is mostly deficiency of spleen and kidney yang. In addition, symptom-centered therapy should be emphasized, not only to improve the symptoms of patients based on syndrome differentiation and treatment principles, but also to relieve the adverse reactions of hormone shock therapy, which fully embodies the advantages of the combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation in treatment of neurological diseases with integrative medicine.
