Abstract

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a chronic progressive neurodegenerative disease with diverse and complex symptoms, including both motor and non-motor symptoms. Sleep disorder is one of the most common non-motor symptom. At present, the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease sleep disorder (PDSD) is not clear. Western Medicine has symptomatic treatment drugs,but the efficacy is not ideal, and there are drug dependence and many adverse reactions.Traditional Chinese Medicine has certain clinical efficacy in treating for PDSD. This article summarized the advantages and disadvantages of modern medicine in the treatment of PDSD, combined with recent expert consensus and clinical experience, and applied Traditional chinese Medicine theory to differentiate and treat for PDSD, providing a certain reference for the diagnosis and treatment of this disease by combining Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.
