Abstract

Objective: To analyze the status and infuencing factors of cognitive function in patients with subacute stroke.

Methods: 120 hospitalized patients with subacute stroke from April 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE) and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) were used to evaluate the cognitive function of patients. According to the cognitive function survey results, patients were divided into normal cognitive function group and cognitive impairment group. The basic data and clinical data of the two groups were compared and analyzed, Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were carried out to explore the influencing factors of cognitive function in patients with subacute stroke.

Results: Among the 120 patients with subacute stroke, 56 patients were complicated with cognitive impairment, and the incidence of cognitive impairment was 46.67%. According to univariate analysis, there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender, body mass index (BMl), occupation, annual family income, length of hospitalization, smoking history and diabetes (P>0.05), while the cognitive impairment group had older average age, more alcohol consumption, lower education level higherincidence of hypertension and hyperlipidemia and higher National Institute of Health Stroke Scale, NIHSS) score than those in the normal cognitive function group (P<005). Logistic multivariate analysis showed that older age, alcohol consumption historylower education level, history of hypertension or hyperlipidemia were independent risk factors of cognitive impairment in patients with subacute stroke(P<0.05).

onclusion: Cognitive impairment in patients with subacute stroke is common. Among them, older age, alcohol consumption history, lower education level, history of hypertension or hyperlipidemia are the main infuencing factors of cognitive impairment.Corresponding intervention measures should be taken according to these influencing factors to improve the cognitive function in patients with subacute stroke.
